Sebastian set the phone down before nodding to the man who was offering him a drink. "No- Beer with cap on, please." He paid for it himself, took it and walked away from the man who looked stumped. Sebastian rolled his eyes and walked out onto the patio, wondering if Kurt really thought they could work.

Kurt decided to go down and have a late night swim to clear his mind

Sebastian walked around the hotel, pretty sure Kurt would listen to him and go to bed. There were people milling around and he sighed, sipping his beer as he walked outside. He moved to roll up the bottom of his pants and sit beside the more quiet pool and frowned when he saw Kurt. He couldn't just run away, he'd be spotted either way. "Do you not listen to my rules, Kurt?"

Kurt had been under water. As he surfaced he looked around, eyes widening when he saw Sebastian. "Seb? I... didn't know I had to go to bed right away...."

"I said go to bed." Sebastian said and leaned forward, sipping his beer. "Come here."

Kurt got out of the pool and walked over to Sebastian

"Kurt...." He sighed and finished the beer. "God..." He whispered. "What am I going to do with you?"

"Get me drunk? Have an awesome night tonight. Change your mind. Love me forever."

Sebastian let out a short laugh. "Good try." He hummed. "No. Sit your cute ass down and let's talk." He said as he patted the cement next to him.

Kurt sat down next to Sebastian "Is my ass really cute?"

"Yes, and you know it." He rolled his eyes. "Why can't you let me go? Why can't you move on?"

Kurt leaned against Sebastian. "Cause it hurts too much."

"Kurt..." He smiled and shook his head. "I need you to try... there's a guy in Paris, he's amazing.... he really wants to meet you." He murmured.

"What's his name?"  Kurt asked

"James." Sebastian said and glanced over at his best friend. How did he even think he could run from Kurt? He'd never met anyone near as stubborn as him or cared about anyone half as much as him. He reached out and took Kurt's hand. "If you go on a date and try like hell to enjoy it.... I'll take you on one as well. Deal?"

Kurt squeezed Sebastian's hand gently and thought the deal over. Go on a date with a supposedly attractive guy and then get to go on a date with Sebastian? Perfect. "Okay. Deal."

Sebastian stared at their hands and new he could never fully leave Kurt. He was the only kid who cared what he thought throughout school and now that they were a little older, the only man who would ask about more personal issues because he was the only one who knew they existed. He'd never find a friend like that again. "You look good when you're drenched."

As Kurt held Sebastian's hand, he couldn't help but think back. Him and Sebastian had known each since they were young, so of course he would fall for him. It seemed obvious. "Oh, do I?"

"Mmmhmm.... so cute I would hate to see you get dry." He whispered before pushing Kurt back into the pool with a laugh.

Kurt gasped in shock and came out struggling. He started coughing

Sebastian's eyes widened. "Shit, Kurt! You okay?!" He held out his hand immediately, not having expected Kurt to get hurt by it! He was just being playful!

Kurt took Sebastian's hand and climbed out, still coughing. "I'm okay... Just inhaled a bit of water...."

"Fuck now I feel like an asshole!" He groaned and pulled Kurt into his lap, rubbing his back. He grabbed a pool towel and held onto the boy tightly. "I'm sorry."

"That's cause you are an asshole..." Kurt muttered, leaning against Sebastian.

Sebastian groaned as he held Kurt. "I'm sorry..." He murmured as he pressed his forehead into Kurt's neck.

"Hey it's okay. No need to apologize..." Kurt replied softly

"I could have really hurt you." He whispered as he pulled back, wiping water from Kurt's cheek as he bit his lower lip.

"Don't worry about it, I'm perfectly fine." Kurt smiled softly at him
